Leading Hydrocarbon Surveys

Copeland Resources, Inc. and Copeland Remote Sensing, LLC develop and deploy patented Hydrocarbon Survey (HS) technology for oil and gas operators, landowners, and mineral holders. Our projects range from field-proven HS surveys that pinpoint drilling and water flood targets to acreage and mineral rights transactions built on that same subsurface data.

Copeland Resources Inc (CRI) worked with a local geologist, found funding, and negotiated the contract for a large Marcellus Shale acreage acquisition in West Virginia. CRI obtained an ORRI ownership in 220,000+ acres and a mineral ownership in 85,000+ acres.
